1. About These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TheGutClinic.ke website and the clinical nutrition consultation services provided by Riri, Clinical Nutritionist ("we", "us", "our"). By booking a consultation or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
2. Services
We provide personalized clinical nutrition consultations for gut, liver, and metabolic health. Our services include:
- 45–60 minute video or in-person consultations
- Symptom and medical history assessment
- Personalized nutrition recommendations
- Practical meal guidance
- Written session summary
Our services are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or prescribed medication. We work alongside your healthcare team, not as a replacement.
3. Booking & Payment
Consultations are booked via WhatsApp. A booking is confirmed once payment is received. Accepted payment methods include M-Pesa and bank transfer. Fees are communicated before confirmation and are non-refundable once the consultation has taken place.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session may be rescheduled at no additional cost. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may forfeit the session fee.
4. Your Responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete health information in the intake form
- Follow the consultation schedule and communicate any changes promptly
- Understand that nutrition changes take time and results vary between individuals
- Continue any prescribed medical treatment unless directed otherwise by your doctor
5. Limitation of Liability
While we make every effort to provide evidence-based, personalized guidance, individual outcomes may vary. We are not responsible for any adverse effects resulting from the implementation of nutrition recommendations without consulting your primary healthcare provider.
Our liability is limited to the value of the consultation fee paid. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on TheGutClinic.ke — including text, images, and design elements — is the property of TheGutClinic.ke and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without written permission.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
